While this mug is durable and built to last, it's important to note that it's not dishwasher or microwave safe. So, hand-washing is the way to go.

 

Before using the mug for the first time, be sure to give it a good wash.

 

Use a mild detergent and a soft sponge or cloth to clean it. Avoid abrasive cloths or harsh scrubbing, as it could damage the design.

Ceramic mugs come in colors that catch your attention, making them stand out more.

 

However, our glass mugs, being clear, may not grab your eye in the same way.

 

Glass mugs are also crafted to be slender for easy stacking, and that can influence the perceived size.

However, it is important to note that as with any other glassware product, when glass is exposed to sudden temperature changes, it can be susceptible to breakage.

 

To ensure the longevity of your mug, especially when dealing with hot liquids, it is advisable to follow these precautions:

 

Preheat the Mug: Before pouring hot liquids, consider preheating the glass mug by rinsing it with warm water. This helps the glass adapt to the temperature change more gradually.

 

Avoid Extreme Temperature Changes: Refrain from exposing the glassware to sudden and extreme temperature shifts, such as moving from the freezer to hot water or vice versa.

Can I put my ceramic mug in the dishwasher?

Yes, ceramic mugs are generally dishwasher safe. 

 

However, to preserve the longevity of the engraved design, we highly recommend hand-washing. Dishwasher heat and strong detergents can cause fading over time. 

 

If you choose to use a dishwasher, placing the mug on the top rack will help reduce exposure to intense heat and pressure.

Is my ceramic mug microwave safe?

Yes, this ceramic mug is completely microwave safe. You can use it to heat beverages without any concern.

How do I care for my ceramic mug?

To keep your mug in the best condition, we recommend washing it before its first use with warm water and mild soap. 

 

When cleaning, use a soft sponge rather than abrasive scrubbing pads, as rough materials can scratch the surface and cause the engraving to lose its crispness. 

 

If your mug has been exposed to a strong stain, such as coffee or tea residue, soaking it in warm water with baking soda before washing will help restore its clean appearance. 

 

While ceramic is sturdy, it is still a fragile material, so handling your mug with care and avoiding sudden temperature changes will prevent cracks and extend its lifespan.

How do I wash my tumbler?

We recommend hand washing only to preserve the tumbler’s insulation and engraved design. 

 

Wash with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge to prevent scratches. Avoid using abrasive cleaning pads or harsh detergents, as they can damage the surface. 

 

For deep cleaning, a mixture of baking soda and water can help remove stains or lingering odors. Always air dry upside down to prevent moisture buildup inside the lid or rim.

 

Avoid abrasive materials such as steel wool, rough scrubbing pads, or harsh chemical cleaners should never be used on your tumbler. These materials can scratch the stainless steel surface, dull the engraved design, and weaken the protective coating.

Can I put my tumbler in the microwave?

No, this tumbler is made from stainless steel and should never be microwaved. Microwaving metal can cause sparks and damage both the tumbler and your microwave. 

 

If you need to warm up a beverage, transfer it to a microwave-safe container first.

Can I put my tumbler in the dishwasher?

No, we do not recommend placing your tumbler in the dishwasher. 

 

While stainless steel is durable, dishwashers expose the tumbler to high heat and strong detergents, which can weaken the vacuum insulation and cause the engraved design to fade over time. 

 

To preserve its longevity, always wash by hand using warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge.

Apparel

How should I wash my t-shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie?

To preserve the softness, color, and printed design of your apparel, we recommend washing it inside out on a cold, gentle cycle. 

 

Using mild detergent will help maintain the fabric's quality while preventing fading or cracking of the design. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals, as they can weaken the fibers and dull the print.

 

For sweatshirts and hoodies, washing them inside out also helps protect the ribbed cuffs and seams from excessive friction. 

 

If needed, wash similar colors together to prevent color bleeding, especially for richly dyed fabrics like chocolate brown or sorority-specific colors.

Can I put my t-shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie in the dryer?

While t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies can go in the dryer, we recommend air drying whenever possible to maintain their shape and longevity. 

 

If you must use a dryer, choose a low heat setting to prevent shrinkage and reduce wear on the print. High heat can weaken the cotton fibers and cause the design to fade or crack over time.

 

For the 4th Anniversary Hoodie, its medium-weight cotton-poly blend is designed for durability, but air drying will keep the fabric feeling soft and comfortable for longer.

How do I prevent the print from fading or cracking?

The best way to keep the print looking fresh is to wash the garment inside out and avoid high heat when drying or ironing. 

 

Fabric softeners can also affect the print’s longevity, so it's best to skip them. 

 

If you need to remove wrinkles, turn the garment inside out and iron on a low setting while avoiding direct heat on the print.

Will my t-shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie shrink over time?

Since our t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are made from high-quality airlume combed and ring-spun cotton blends, shrinkage is minimal when cared for properly. 

 

To prevent excessive shrinking, always wash with cold water and dry on low heat or air dry.

Tote Bag

How should I clean my tote bag?

To maintain the vibrant metallic gold finish and structural integrity of your tote bag, we recommend spot cleaning only. 

 

Use a damp cloth with mild soap to gently wipe the surface. 

 

Avoid soaking the bag in water, as excessive moisture can weaken the non-woven fabric and alter its shape.

Can I put my tote bag in the washing machine?

No, this tote bag should not be machine washed. 

 

The lightweight, non-woven fabric is not designed to withstand the agitation of a washing cycle and may lose its crisp structure. 

 

Machine washing could also cause the gold finish to fade or peel over time.

How do I store my tote bag when not in use?

To keep your tote looking fresh, store it flat or hanging in a cool, dry place. 

 

Avoid folding or crushing it for extended periods, as creases in the metallic material may not smooth out easily. 

 

Keeping the bag away from direct sunlight when stored will also help prevent any potential fading.

Can I iron my tote bag to remove wrinkles?

No, do not iron this tote bag, as high heat can damage the metallic gold finish and weaken the fabric. 

 

If slight creases appear, lay the bag flat under a heavy book or gently smooth it out by hand.
